Lafayette

From $422,995 | 2,555 Sq. Ft. | 4 Bedrooms | 3 Baths | 3 Garage | 1 Story
The single-story Lafayette floor plan is from our 60's Collection of new Heathrow homes. With 2,555 square feet of smartly designed living space and a three-car garage, it’s a great choice for a growing family, especially one with teens.

The formal living and dining rooms just off the gallery-style foyer set an elegant tone. If you’re having the boss and his wife to dinner for the first time, this is the perfect setting. On the other hand, if you’re having the neighbors and their kids over for movie night, you’re going to love your big, open family room and kitchen. The center island has lots of room for prepping and serving snacks.

You and the kids will appreciate the split-bedroom layout. You get an entire side of the house all to yourself and so do they. Of course, you get the two enormous walk-in closets and the luxurious bathroom with corner garden tub, separate walk-in shower, enclosed commode and two vanities – which is, after all, why it’s called an owner’s suite.

Like the basic plan but wish it had more living space? No problem. You can exercise your option to add a second floor bonus room. Your Taylor Morrison sales consultant can tell you about all the options available for the Lafayette including customizing selections from the Design Center.

The office/den as you enter the foyer area.
Open great room / living room.

 The large island/counter space.
 Large kitchen.
All the rage- a sunburst mirror.  Easy D.I.Y. project.
Large master bedroom.  Framed wall leads to a backdrop and creates a faux headboard.
Another easy D.I.Y. project with oils or wax.
Another major rage in home decor- Gold embellishments and accents.
Master bathroom with raised sinks, separate tub and shower.
Metal wall decor.  Again- in gold and a large scale sculpture.
Loved this bathroom- Another rage in home decor- black and white damask.  And notice the gorgeous tile in the bathtub enclosure!

 Adorable applique wall decor.

Absolutely stunning use of black and white in this bathroom.

A large bonus room used for a home theater.

Easton    From $491,990 | 3,493 Sq. Ft. | 4 Bedrooms | 3.5 Baths | 2 Garage | 2 Stories

Love the side loading garage on this.

I try not to be too critical- but this is a no-no - Two different types of engineered wood next to each other?  What were they thinking.
It's hard to see- but the far wall is a wine holder on both sides with a counter in between and cabinet space below!  Brilliant design plan.
The office/den as you enter in the foyer area.
1/2 bath in the foyer area.  The entire back wall is tile.  Interesting and different.
Huge open living and eating area.  Love this warm area and color scheme.  Two other popular trends:  Orange color and chevron pattern.

Love this idea- Glass bowls as decorative accents.
Master bedroom with wood veneer accents on far wall.  And notice the orange color.
Wood veneer beams are also very popular
 Master bathroom.
Okay, and even IF you can afford to use all of this small tile- DON'T.  It's overwhelming and busy.

Huge open area for living and eating.
Beautiful color scheme and open airy floor plan.
Mercury glass is beginning to not be so popular.
And this has to be the ugliest kitchen.  They were trying to achieve the 'industrial' grade kitchen look, but fail with cheap looking upper cabinets that have aluminum accents and faux frosted glass- YUCK. OH- and did I mention- even if you have the money to put all of that small accent tile all the way up the wall- DON'T.  It's busy and overwhelming.

A close up of the cabinets I'm not fond of.
And I'm not crazy about this color - EVEN IF it matches the flooring.

OH- And did I mention there is GAS in this community!  That's so rare!

Adorable room decor.  Tennis balls and rackets.
Upstairs bonus loft area is HUGE!
I wish this picture were more clear.  I LOVED this decor idea.
Love the tile scheme in this bathroom.  And again with damask curtains and orange accents.

A huge storage closet perfect for holding all of your holiday decor or making a craft room.
Love love love this idea for a boys room!

Large wood grain ceramic tile used in the bathroom shower enclosure- this is often used on floors!

Okay- and my largest gripe about the models- the standard 6' 8" doors- REALLY?!  In this caliber of a home- I expect 8' doors throughout.  It's the wrong scale and makes the home seem less upscale.
