Lake Nona - Medical City and Laureate Park Community

Today I toured the new construction model homes of this vibrant and "architecturally interesting  community".  Now open and featuring homes with "modern transitional architectural" styles, it's uber convenient - located near Lake Nona’s Medical City, just moments from the airport and right off of the 417 expressway.  In addition to it's amazing location and brilliant architectural style, the community boasts one of the most energy efficient designs in the whole country by embracing technology like: LED street lamps/lights, GE Nucleus products (which allows you to monitor and manage your energy consumption real time through your ipads/iphones), and each garage has a plug for that new electric car you've been wanting.
And if THAT weren't enough to sell you on it, there's one last piece to make the perfect puzzle complete: DAIS Fiber Optics.  Laureate Park residents enjoy the benefits of gigabit connectivity that offers internet speeds at more than 200 times faster than the average broadband service in American households.  It's because of this DAIS technology that Laureate Park is the first US city to receive the highly coveted designation as the "Iconic City" (one of only 9 cities in the world to hold this title).
At the heart of Laureate Park will be its "Village Center", with an Aquatic Center, lakeside restaurant and cafe, and a fitness facility.   The resort-style Aquatic Center opened this summer and features two large pools, lounging areas and a sand volleyball court.  A ‘Family Pool’ is home to a zero-entry pool, deck jets, water cannons and a twenty-five foot tall dumping bucket.  The adult ‘Quiet Pool’ features private cabanas, free form pool areas and four Jr. Olympic lap lanes.
The following builders are proud to call Laureate Park home:
If you are interested in a custom home, Arturo Barcelona Homes and Issa Homes have  custom lot/home packages available at Laureate Park.

Prices start in the low 200's for the loft/courtyard attached homes and Single Family homes start in the high 200's and go all the way up to......(sky's the limit).  The average home appears to be 2,800 square feet, with a pool and coming in around $500,000.

And as always:  I will rebate you back 1% of the base price of your new home.
Following are photos of a David Weekley model home, as well as an Ashton Woods model home.  If you have the opportunity to visit the model homes make sure you visit the amazingly decorated Ashton Woods Jefferson Model-  (there are photos below)- it will truly impress even the pickiest decorator.
